City boss Paul Lambert praised the way his side dug out a vital three points against Swindon yesterday as the Canaries moved up to fifth place in League One.

The Norfolk club deserved their victory but for the second time this week, they showed signs of tiredness in the game's latter stages and when the score stays at 1-0, there is always some degree of anxiety.

Yep like most people I think that was boring to watch, frustrating to witness the constant use of the long ball; hoofing it up to Holt, who was being marked by McDonald a man the size of the jolly Green Giant.  The game was crying out for something different; while we seemed devoid of any other ideas. 

So after many of seasons laughing with my friends who support Bristol City and Hartlepool, I would myself be able to witness the cup known as the "Johnstones Paint Trophy" and to be honset what a fine game it turned out to be.

So much hope was present from the canarie long suffering supporters before kick off, this would quickley turn into disappear within the first 22 minutes of the first home game of the season.

At 2pm on Saturday no one could have seen what would happen to Gunnys masterplan?! Who would the canraries had come through pre season un beaten, our back four looked like solid rock, we were odds on with Bet Fair to return to championship within one season, where did it all go wrong? Good question.
