'Confused'
As my stage name, Confused, suggests I found myself more than a little perplexed trying to decide who I am…..
...a little worrying I guess but it was Friday afternoon after a dangerous session of Wolfmother, Real Ale and Double Chocolate Sundaes the night before! So I thought, knickers to it, I’ll get someone else to do the work and ask three willing subjects at the Evening News the million dollar question….Who On Earth is Oli Franzen?
To keep things scientific I asked one male and one female designer who sit next to me, James Paton and Jan Mayor plus the Big Boss, Phil Preston our Marketing Director for the clincher.
James (The Male) Said:
Oli’s known as “The Beast” round the office and “The Fish” to his friends and as his name suggests he loves slugging real ale, troughing down food and wigging out to Classic Rock. Round the office he loves the canteen (Wednesday Roast Days are a particular highlight) and hates, admin, accountants, Take That! and answering Dave’s telephone!
Jan (The Female) Commented:
Oli spends most of his day winding me up and I spend most of mine throwing random items at him like an inflatable chicken! He’s certainly fun loving and amenable but don’t cross him.
He loves Good Ale, Bad Woman, and Good Fun; and Hates Bad Ale, Good Women, and No Fun.
He’s like a pig in muck in the countryside and spends most of his time boating, fishing and drifting around in his inflatable canoe.
Phil (The Boss) remarked:
Just a little bit eccentric but quite unlike his Dad (The Presidential Dark Lord of the EDP – Oli’s word’s not Phil’s), Oli has a big appetite for life and likes to live dangerously (a perilous combination!) He’s always good fun and likes trying new things like travelling to random parts of the Earth and is even reputed to have been kidnapped by Bedouin Tribesman. More than anything he’s the font of all things food and drink!
On Oli’s co-host and line manager, Dave, Jan commented “Dave is just the opposite of Oli and a little bit jealous!”
