Simone Hayes

Queen of Future Radio
Every Monday 4-6pm
Simone likes to present radio shows for Future Radio and when she grows up she would like to be a little wiser in the ways of the world and of all things in it.
Simone is an amateur Kung Fu fighter and in her spare time she likes to practice on her willing friends, whilst singing merrily in her head “Everybody was kung fu fighting (huh) di di di di di di di di di…”
If Simone was an animal, she’d be a gummi bear, bouncing here and there and everywhere. She likes coffee, and it has the same effect on her as gummi juice does on gummi bears. She also likes cider, which has a similar effect.
Simone is a film graduate from the University of East Anglia, and likes to share her knowledge and opinions of film with others, which places her nicely within the presenting team of Future Radio’s film show The Sight of Music. She is not afraid to admit that whilst many credible films feature in her list of favourites, a film entitled “Wet, Hot American Summer” is very, very high on the list.
Simone does not drive, but if she did, she would drive a cherry-red convertible, like the one in “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”, which is coincidentally one of her favourite films and books, written by one of her favourite authors, Hunter S. Thompson. To make up for her driving inadequacies, Simone presents the Monday NR5 Drive show at Future Radio.
Simone smiles a lot. She also pouts a lot, and likes to pretend she is a natural blonde.
