General Future Radio Legend
I’ve lived in Norfolk since 1987 so almost a local now – I Live in Wymondham with my Wife, two daughters, dog, cat and goldfish.
My first experience of radio was in the 1980’s doing a live football report from a phone box in East London for local radio; my script blew out of my hand mid way through and I had to make up the rest of it as I went along, but no one seemed to notice and they asked me back the following week.
Other live broadcast mishaps include having a script yanked out of my hand a second before going on air by another panicking dj, pouring boiling hot tea down my lap and being threatened by a thug in another live sports report – so hardly surprising I work in health and safety now.
I have done various roles with whoever will have me including hospital radio, local BBC and of course Future Radio since the early days
Community Chest is likely to be a very fluid show as we want to keep it as current as possible and have diverse topics and guests with maximum interaction with listeners. So get involved!
