I first saw Miss Karen Hill working in Our Price in Lewsiham Shopping Centre in 1985 and she was a vision - not because it was Lewisham Shopping Centre I may add.

Fast forward eighteen months and low and behold 'our Karen' was working at Andys Records.

1986. Stevies Inervisions, Ritzys, Bury Street, my beetle called Roy .... all delightful time and not in any way meant to be hurtful.

"Haaaaave you got John Micheal Johns new aaaaaalbum." (Jean Michel Jarre)

My very vest wishes

Why thank you Mrs and Mrs Blues for getting in touch - so nice to hear from the highlands and that you seem to be well after giving up your career in BT telecommunications ... email me so I can reply back with out having to do this in public as it were !

Dear Mrs Roma

I am writing to say how much I am enjoying the seven ages of man (woman!). Mrs Blues and I do enjoy settling down on a Wednesday afternoon with a packet of tea cakes and a wee bottle of Bulmers to drink in your good cheer and affirm your sound judgements on popular culture. Indeed, Mrs Blues is apt to refer to you as our Dante, guiding our befuddled minds through the complicated maze that is contemporary life. Being a people person you would always find a warm welcome in the Blues' household should you ever find yourself in Hibernia with a raging thirst; the tentflap, as they say, is always open.

Yours etc.
