About me
I used to live in Reading up until April 1996, when my parents decided to move up here to Norfolk. But since they've moved again to Germany, I've been living in Norwich.
I've been listening to Rock and Metal for my whole life pretty much. My dad used to have a collection of Black Sabbath LP's and I would sit there for hours just admiring the sounds. Little did I know that Black Sabbth would be my first taste of Metal as it is today.
I do like all kinds of Metal but it does depend on what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm feeling happy and up for a dance then I'd be listening to music by Mindless Self Indulgence, VNV Nation, any kind of Industrial Metal like that.
However, if I'm in one of those moods that requires a good old growl or scream... Kittie, Megadeth, Iron Maiden are my current faves.
I started volunteering at Future Radio in late November 2008, just starting out with co-presenting and training. Now I'm a fully fledged presenter, with Harriet every other week playing anything we feel like, but always count on us to play the newest releases and local talent!!

Role at Future Radio
I started volunteering at Future Radio in late November 2008, just starting out with co-presenting and training, now I'm updating the Distortion page here and on the Facebook group. Recently I've covered for both my co-presenters Wil and Lucy. Why is it though, that something always goes wrong when I'm on my own??!!
I am highly interested in getting a career in radio and working for Future is helping me gain more of an understanding of the industry. I'm deeply greatful for all the opportunities already given to me, interviewing one of my favourite bands Mindless Self Indulgence at the UEA recently and I hope more to come in the near future
