I am into music in a big way and Metal has been at the top of my prefered musical genres since the mid 80's. So I'm really pleased to be helping out the Distortion Metal Show, behind the scenes as well as the occasional presenting.    Some of my favourite bands are; Symphony X, Nightwish, Slayer, Anathema, Paradise Lost, Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses, Hellowe'en, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Megadeth, Napalm Death, The Rotted, Emperor, Enslaved, Carcass, At The Gates, System of a Down, Obituary, Celtic Frost,  Cradle of Filth, Symphorce, Dragonforce, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and loads more.  I also like to suport the local scene and I think there are some great Metal bands materializing in and around the Norfolk and Suffolk areas such as Killer Hurtz, Agonyst, Hollow, Spread the Venom, Dead Patrol, Organ Grinder, Pain Penitentiary, Snowblind, Thirteenth Sign, and I'm sure I've forgotton some but please send in your demos and I will make sure that they get played.

I am studying for a degree in music practice at the City College.  I sing in a metal band 'System Corrupt' and I also sing and play mandolin in a folk/punk/bluegrass band 'The Dog Days of Summer'.  On top of all that, I have a home recording studio where I spend much of my time writing and recording my own material.  I used to play drums in a death metal band 'Suffering' but I now mainly sing and dabble in guitar playing with a spot of mandonlin and fiddle playing.  As well as Metal, I listen to alot of folk and bluegrass plus tonnes of classic rock.
