'Over the Wall' nominated for award!

We're very pleased to report that Future Radio's 'Over the Wall' programme (recorded by prisoners at Norwich Prison Young Offenders Institute), was a finalist in Friday's Creative East Awards, which was held at the Theatre Royal in Norwich.

Future Radio was the only non-BBC station to make the finalists of the 'Best Radio Programme' category which speaks volumes for everyone involved with the project, and also the power of community radio to offer an inclusive broadcasting platform, and a voice to a wide range of people and communities.

Over the Wall was pipped to the award by BBC Radio Norfolk's Treasure Quest programme but it was great to be acknowledged as a finalist, and hopefully we can go one better at next year's awards!
