In the most closely competed final in the competition's history Console Wars are the winners of Next Big Thing 6!

They pipped duo Alloy Ark to the winners spot by a single judges point, with electronica talent Epichunt coming in 3rd place.

After 2008's competition Ed Sheeran said "it's upped my gain and i have to work that little bit harder now" he also went on to say " with my £1000 I bought a new guitar, loop pedal and microphone". The next big thing for "Ed" is hoping  to release a E.P on Island Records along with Mariah Carey, The Killers and Fall Out Boy.
