The Sharps

 The Sharps are four 20-year-olds who got together in 2003. Originally from the Norfolk flatlands they’re now based in London. The Sharps combine driving rhythms, raunchy riffs, catchy tunes, melodic harmonies and a dynamic stage act.

GIGS: The Sharps have played most of the main Norfolk venues, including Kings Lynn Corn Exchange, The Brickmakers, The Playhouse and Norwich Arts Centre. Recent London gigs have included The Purple Turtle and Dublin Castle in Camden, as well as Hoxton's Underbelly - with fantastic crowd responses. They’re getting the same reaction from crowds at venues in Southampton, Brighton, and Bournemouth. Check them out – see the gigs listing. .

The Sharps launched their EP Midnight State on September 11th 2010 at The Marquee, Norwich. The EP was recorded in Norfolk by London-based producer Ben Fenner, who has worked with major stars such as David Bowie and Brian Eno. He says: “The Sharps have a great sound and strong, original songs. All four of them are excellent performers who are passionate about their music.”
