From Monday, 19th September 2011 The Breakfast Show moves times. The show will start at 7.30 and finish at 9.30, with Community Chest starting half an hour earlier.

Mondays will still be with Dikie Harper, Debs is on air Tuesday mornings, Wednesday's show will be presented by Di Cunningham, Thursday is with Richard Harrison, and Friday will be with Paul Buller.

This series explores the 35-mile long Wherryman’s Way walk from Norwich to Great Yarmouth, which passes through Whitlingham, Surlingham, Rockland, Loddon, Reedham and Berney Arms – a walk which combines history & scenery. A walk which is both varied, and remarkable. The series will focus on the sights and sounds of the The Wherryman’s Way, and also look into the characters, and history that make the walk so interesting. Dozens of individuals kindly gave up some time to contribute to the radio programme, most of whom can be heard in the programmes.

The theme music was written by Oliver Payne.

Friday August 26th will see a celebration event to mark 4 years of Future Radio as Norwich’s independent voice of the airwaves!

The birthday event takes place at Karma Kafe in Norwich and will feature 3 floors of music from a selection of Future Radio DJs, covering: Soul, Motown, Disco, Rhythm n’ Blues, Swing, House, Kwaito, Old Skool, Tech-Deep House, Ska, Reggae, Afrobeat, Funk, Dubstep and more!

Entrance to the event is free and promises to be a unique opportunity to catch some of the city’s best DJs on one night spread over 3 rooms of great music.
