Chatterbox is the Norwich Talking newspaper for the visually impaired. They are looking for Checkers who check the tapes before they are sent out. They need to be available on a Thursday evening once a month to work with a team of other volunteers in a friendly environment. Location: King Street, Norwich
 
Homestart is a charity which offers support, friendship and practical help to families with a child under 5, who are experiencing difficulties. They are looking for people to train as Home Visitors with the next preparation course which starts at the end of February. Location: Central Norwich
 
The RSPCA is looking for volunteers for a variety of volunteers to work at their Medical Practice in Barrack Street. They need a Receptionist and Home Visitors who can find suitable people with which to re-home the animals they rescue. They also require Trustees for the charity. Location: Paws Centre, Central Norwich
 
Norwich Sea Cadets are looking for adult volunteers who would like to become members of their volunteer team. There are opportunities to become staff volunteers helping with their weekly sessions. They are also looking for a member of the Unit Management Committee, helping to raise funds for the unit. Location: Central Norwich.
 
The Hamlet Centre Trust offers services to children and young adults with special needs. They have a toy library and rooms with facilities for music, computing, art and craft and adventure. They need School Holiday Helpers, and a Toy Library Bus Driver on Fridays. Location: Thorpe Hamlet (Nr the Railway Station)
 
WISEarchive is an on-line site dedicated to protecting and preserving the working life memories from the over 50s. They are looking for a volunteer co-ordinator who will help in this process.
