"A photographers paradise"
Whitlingham Broads for many years has been a source of inspiration for me and my family. As I am a keep photographer I have found this area a perfect place to explore the endless opportunities by experiencing the changing seasons and their effect on the wildlife surrounding this beautiful place.
The Whitlingham Outdoor Education Centre on the broads offers a varied choice of activities such as canoeing, wind surfing, diving and other water sports. My own daughter took full advantage of these facilities by taking part in a national open water swimming competition and gaining scuba diving qualifications: including exciting night time dives.
There are beautiful and interesting walks around the lakes and the broads, and an amazing array of different species of insects and plant life. The stunning and ever changing scenery of this location is a photographer’s paradise. See Ali's Photos in our online gallery.
