Brentford 2 - 1 Norwich City : 2nd Class half city!!

It was a poor 2nd half performence that shot the canaries down at griffin park, it must give new manager Paul Lambert something to think about going forward into Saturday.

A long throw like a weapon of power from David Hunt un locked the frail canaries after 50 minutes Ryan Dickson jumping above the flock of canaries to rocket in off his head.

David Hunt capped a fine nights work on 71 minutes smacking home a free kick on the edge of the box after Gill used his hands to protect his body with full use of the hand. Gill is still yet to show the kind of form that got him cheers from Exeter fans on Saturday.

Tudur Jones did score a crackin free kick much like Hunt's in the 90th minute, his first for City in the yellow and green shirt. Doc in the final kick of the game nearly got his wore torn head to free kick which would have drawn city level. This would how ever you dress things up been harsh on Brentford who were more then worthy of the result.

Norwich missed three good chances in the first 45 minutes and again paid the price.

Butterworth claimed in hard week of football he could not fault there effort and hard work, but with 1 point out of three games the new man in charge may not sign up to that being good enough!
