Next Big Thing Semi Final #2

Hello all, and welcome back to the blog of Terry - I'm delighted you've chosen to read it!

I wasn't doing my show today you may have noticed, it was Richard 'Dicky' Harper covering whilst I attended a family funeral, and from what I heard, he was actually better than me. So that's good. Though not so good for my job prospects... Whatever, I thank Richard big time and I tell you all that he'll be back on Breakfast on Monday 9th November.

Why aren't I on air that Monday? Well, it's the morning after the NBT final! And that will be a show. A show to end all shows. Except it won't end all shows, that expression is in fact rather silly.

I digress...the NBT 2nd semi was last Sunday, and featured Falcon Burns, Console Wars, Epichunt, Darwin And The Dinosaur, Sula Mae, and Cakes and Ale. Wow. That was an eclectic show. And really tough to judge. In the end it was Console Wars, Epichunt ("chunt" we say, "chunt"), and Sula May who got through. Well done them, they will be at the final on the 8th at the LCR, and I suggest you be there too.

IF YOU CAN'T BE THERE though, you may still be able to hear it! In fact you will be able to! We are broadcasting the whole final live on Future Radio that Sunday. Obviously it's not quite as good as being there, but it's not a bad substitute. Now you know.
