Eamonn's Blog II

New entry. Some of you will remember the double-decker bus that fell down a hole on Earlham Rd back in the '80s. Some of you will be aware of the pothole in Earlham precinct and how NR2 is blistering with outrage at the human rights abuse inherent in negligent tarmac application. Some of you will have seen the film Titanic.

I want to make a film of Norwich's own Titanic disaster. They had the Atlantic Ocean full of icebergs. We had chalk mines under the Golden Triange subsiding, sound similar? We could easily replicate the CGI effects by shoving a child's sit and ride toy bus into the Earlham precinct puddle.

They had Kate and Leo flying on the prow of the largest liner on earth then going down below deck for some dancing at a crude racial stereotyping begorrah celidh with the Oirish plebs. We could get my mate Henry to replicate this by playing his harmonica and drinking a 6-pack of Guiness on the lower deck of a bus after the leading couple have played aeroplanes on the upstairs front seat.

One of the passengers on the bus was called Troy Kerrison. Fact. Such a Hollywood Blockbuster name. The omens look good.

Watch this space, offer help/ideas, a camera, act in this blistering drama, provide the sit-and-ride bus. If we make it, they will watch it.

I'll watch it!
