Snow Joke

By Terry Lee - Posted on 02 February 2009

There is no joke. Snow joke. Get it? No. Nevermind. I don't believe the snow is a joke for too many people, it is causing chaos seemingly! I, however, had no problems getting to the studios this morning and did my public service school closures related announcements. As a result it was a hectic one. But enjoyable. A big thank you to Mark (our finance man at Future Projects) who helped me out with the list of schools not open.

The weekend for me actually involved popping into the offices on Saturday. I don't do it quite as often as I used to, but working at Future is addictive (it's good to have a job which can be described as such). I also got to attend on Saturday evening the Birthday Party of Mhairi Doble, a presenter on Saturday mornings, who turned 40. Happy Birthday again Mhairi. It has transpired since we have been on air that I have made so many more friends in Norwich from work - and what with the volunteer-driven-nature of Future Radio there is opportunity for anyone with spare time to join us. And so this blog entry turns into a recruitment ad...: email s.hayes@futureradio.co.uk if you wanted to volunteer here, or call 01603 455250, no experience neccessary, plenty of roles to fill.

Also, this website will be brand new to many of you. Embrace it! Register yourself and join in! Interact! Comment on this blog! Let us know what you think of Future Radio.

Cheers for your time, i'm off to play in the snow, if by 'play' I mean 'drive cautiously home' and by 'snow' I mean 'blizzard'.

Toodle pip!
