March 12th- National Alfred Hitchcock Day....apparently.

So apparently on Thursday March 12th it was Alfred Hitchcock Day. This is not an official day in any way, shape or form, but as faithful believers in the Master of Suspense -who has incidentally been rated by many as the best filmmaker of all time- who are we to poo poo this celebration.

That said, we will be talking about Hitchcock this week! Discussing the highs and lows (are there any lows?) of his career, his move from the UK to Hollywood, the lesser known gems, the iconic scenes and themes and so an and so forth...

There will also be another pair of Vue Cinema tickets to give away this week, so make sure you tune in. The question will most probably be about our portly thriller filmmaker in discussion.
