A very busy and interesting show this week. If you want to follow some of the items up here are are some links:

MILES for MACMILLAN  Help raise funds for this valued charity and have a fun day out in the process. The Bure Valley walk takes place over two days (pick one) 21st and 22nd April. The route follows the Bure Valley Railway line and is gentle to moderate. You can pick either 3, 6 or 9 miles. You travel out on the train (fare included in the registration fee) and walk back. Refreshments and a goody bag from the sponsor BOOTS at the end. Full details on:

NORFOLK TITANIC EXHIBITION is a free, one day event, at the FORUM on Saturday 14th April (9.30-6.00)

You can see an 8ft model of the ship and a replica of the radio room. Also meet authors of books on the the subject including John Balls who has researched and written about Norfolk people who were on the voyage.

LEEWAY Refuge

Find out more about this magnificent organisation that provides support and shelter for women who are victims of violence at their website. They are also looking for committed volunteers to help in their work. Support their many fund raising events including:  Thursday 19th April - Wedding and Fashion Show at Lenwade Country House Hotel. £5 a ticket

RAILWAY CHILDREN

At CINEMA CITY on Monday April 23rd at 6.15pm you can see the film STREET KIDS UNITED made in South Africa during the Workld Cup 2010. Also on hand for a question and answer session will be the Director of the film Tim Pritchard. Book through the Cinema City Website.
