This is an event organised between the Light Dragoons, based at Swanton Morely, and Norfolk Amateur Boxing Association. The appeal raises funds to support members of The Regiment and their families who have suffered physical and psychological injuries in recent operational deployments. The intention of the appeal is to raise £1million between now and the end of 2012 when the regiment is due to return to its next term o0f duty in Afghanistan.

 

As well as some lively and exciting boxing there will be food, auctions and a bar. This is a rare event in Norfolk and it will help to raise money for some very brave men and women.

The course combines the benefits of relaxation therapy, expert nutritional advice and a supportive group activity you could get yourself in to a healthier shape.

Remember that what can seem to be a convenient way of borrowing money can often get out of hand and you may find yourself paying back many times more than you borrowed. One TV advertised firm offers terms at in excess of 4000% APR. The average credit card is around 14-20% by comparison. Log Book loans, where you pledge the ownership of your car can lead to you, should you default, not only losing your car but still liable for the loan repayment and interest charges. Always read the small print and don’t sign anything on the doorstep. Either save for what you want or use a a Credit Union if you have no other legitimate way of raising the money.
