Join the Blue Moon Walk
Rosie came on to the show this week to publicise the charity raising event she has organised for Friday 10th September in Norwich. She recently spent a long period of time in the Cancer Unit at Addenbrookes Hospital and was very aware that whilst there are wards for children and adults facilities for teenagers recovering from the intensive treatment are sadly lacking. The hospital is building a special unit to cater for young patients from all over the east of England at a cost of £2.5M. Rosie is hoping to raise £10,000 from the proceeds of this walking event towards the cost.
The date is Friday 10th September. If you want to take part either register on the website, or turn up on the night outside the FORUM in Norwich. Registration starts at 6.30pm. The walk is 5 miles long around the city with promises of events along the way. Helping out will be sport stars DARREN HUCKERBY and JACKSON WILLIAMS.
