Happy Bank Holiday!

This week I kicked off my new feature: People Power

You can get involved, let me know what you would love to hear on the radio, whether it a tiny band or a guilty pleasure, it your chance to have your say. I would love to hear from you, so leave me a post!

This week it came from Rachelle who picked I wish that I could see you soon by Herman Dune

Album of the fortnight

The Horrors

As I said on the show, I never thought The Horrors new album would be my album of the fort night. However, it is surprisingly good, in my opinion.

'Primary Colours' is the 2nd album from The Horrors, released on XL recordings, bringing a showgaze, retro feel that could be compared to artists such as My Bloody Valentine, The Smiths and Sonic Youth. Reviewers are giving a pretty damn good 4 stars out of 5, and I think I would join them on that. The album has 10 tracks, and is due to be released on the 4th of May.
