In this show I had my usual features; Album of the fortnight, Blast from the past and interviews.

My Album of the fortnight was the new Sebastien Tellier EP Kilometer. If your not familiar with this wonderful french man, he is pretty damn good. He played Latitude summer 2008 and entered eurovision (which was particularly amazing - youtube it!) The new EP is released for physical release and for download on the 13th of March.

Blast from the past, came from March 1983, New Order, with Blue Monday. The classic song was number 1 for 13 weeks!

I had 2 fabulous interview also on this show. I spoke to Justin from the london based band, Fanfarlo. He was talking about the debut album, Resevoir, which is availiable to download and buy now! Its brilliant and well worth your money. Justin spoke about the gig dates to come and how they are planning to hit a lot of the festivals this summer, also the bands bad habits!

I also spoke to Melanie, an organiser of the Oxjam events. It is a great set up. All the money raised from the gigs goes to the charity, Oxfam. The gigs are taking place all around norwich, so keep your eyes peeled for posters, or check them out on facebook for events. All the nights are really cheap and its for an amazing charity, so get on it, and get down to the gigs! Also, I will be keeping you updated on the latest listing of events on my show.

As ever, I love to know what your listening too! So message me any bands you think I might like that are similar to the bands I play, or if your in a local band and you would like some promotion: myspace me: www.myspace.com/iszrose.

In blogs to come I will be giving you heads up on whats coming up in future shows, top tips about new music and on events listings!

Next show is on Monday the 23rd! Hope you tune in then!

Isabelle.

THIS BLOG IS WONDERFUL AS IS THE RADIO SHOW. YOU PLAY FABULOUS SONGS AND YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VOICE. I LOVE LISTENING TO YOU !

I agree this blog is great! And your music choices are good too. We need to steal a few for our daytime playlists. Any tunes you reccommend as daytime worthy?

Thanks a lot for the comment!

Reccommendations... I would say for more popy alternative stuff look at the new Fanfarlo album (its amazing!)  Acoustic wise... New Bon Iver EP is magic and even his album is non stop hits. Those two are great!

Excellent Blog! Best on the website. Keep it up. And make some of the others do one as well x
