Horoscopes for February 2009 by Sonia Jones

1 - Aquarius 20th January – 18th February
 
You may feel at odds with those close to you at the beginning of the month making you feel out of touch with issues that are going on around you. But this will pass and once the moon moves into ‘a more down to earth sign’, you will feel less hassled and more settled.
 Then later in the month you will be asked for help, but be cautious as your good nature might be taken advantage of, resulting in you going against your own better judgment, and landing in hot water as a result!!
 But as the month proceeds you will be given the chance to partake in something rather special helping you to feel on cloud nine once again!
 
2 - Pisces 19th Feb – 20th March
 
Saturn is in the 7th house of your chart and this indicates a lifting of restrictions and anything that has hindered you over the past few weeks. 
Romantically, it’s a time of endings and new beginnings and you will need to be firm with loved ones if you are to get things done this month. 
But as the energy from the planet Uranus become more brazen, its a time of discovery, maybe something comes to light; nothing bad, just unmentioned.  Also as the moon moves through the 2nd house of your chart, it allows you time to take stock of your finances and material possessions. Is everything as it should be? Better sort it now, as that rainy day might not be far off.
 
3 - Aries 21st March— 19th April
 
Your feelings will intensify this month. Also home life may have seemed fraught over the past few weeks with work or employment issues, but as the troublesome matters become resolved, life can at last return to some normality. Then in the coming weeks, you can to look forward to exciting opportunities, as travel, and new work opportunities beacon.
 Also a red coloured envelope or evening phone call brings you great opportunities. But you are being urged not to be too impulsive in your responses as the offer need be given lots of thought.  The hidden now becomes revealed.
 
 
 4 - Taurus 20th April – 20th May
 
This month you will try to put your life into some sort of order, thus improving your chances of success. You will receive rewards and recognition relating to work, and as a result find yourself doing even more socialising. And as you become more focused, you won’t be pressured into squandering shared resources or purchasing surplus items.
  This is not a time to take chances or risks, unless they are extremely well-informed ones. Because new ventures must be approached with caution, and budgeted accordingly.  Don’t squander your resources just yet!!
 
 
5 - Gemini 21st May - 21st June
         
 You will be re-viewing your job prospects, and how you can mix business with pleasure this month. Employment and climbing up the social ladder of life now holds great importance to you, so make sure you seize what opportunities are available, as fate won’t be dealing out too many choices at present. It might be a case of who you know, and not what you know!!
This month also sees you going through intense mental and intellectual changes, bringing about a time of waiting and watching and a rethinking of options.  
 
6 - Cancer 22nd June – 22nd July
 
The planet Jupiter’s energy will bring good new this month. So if you are waiting for a special communication, it looks like it’s about to be delivered, either in the form of a letter, of an eagerly awaited phone call.
Your mind will be very sharp and you might be incredibly busy at work. You have the ‘gift of the gab’ this month so you will put your point across in a most determined way.  This will help clear the air and put you on a better footing with other’s around you.
Then as the moon moves across the 12th house of the chart she indicates, changes are a foot!!
 
 

7 - Leo 23rd July – 22nd August
 
This month indicates lots of energy is available and a bit of DIY or electrical work may be needed as appliances and electrical goods act up. Items might need fixing, and this is a good a time as any to replace faulty goods before they completely ‘give up the goat.’  
Positive developments will come from work sources or professional pursuits. And you will meet up with an old male acquaintance; this chance meeting becomes beneficial to you in more ways than one.
Travel and physical activities are highlighted, as your competitive spirit now kicks in, but don’t be tempted to overdue things as your enthusiasm tends to leave you with making all the arrangements, exhausting yourself in the process.
 
 
8 - Virgo 23rd August – 22nd September
 
You are feeling a little emotional at this time, opinion are running quiet high in the home and at work, but as you gain faith in yourself, life will become rewarding and personally satisfying for you. So use this month to resolve any disagreement you might have had with others.
 A stroke of luck and being in the right place at the right time is indicated, because your destiny is about to be realised and will come about from an unexpected meeting.
Do something to improve your domestic and personal life -- whether it’s simply re-decorating a room or two, or enjoy a well planed event, but try to remain positive.....
 
 
9 - Libra 23rd September - 23rd October
 
You will be a little feeling freer this month, and its time to tackle those domestic jobs that have been put on hold.  Also it is time to be inventive maybe try out new fashion ideas, or purchase a smart out fit for a future family event.  Nothing ventured nothing gained is what the planets indicate now. Its also a time too harness the rebellious streak hidden deep within, so what you waiting for?
But whatever takes you’re fancy just now will need a disciplined approach, because overspending will give rise to feelings of guilt, but we all need a boost now and a gain, and this month is the occasion for just that!!
 
 10 - Scorpio 24th October – 22nd November
 
You will be feeling happier and contented this month as the pressure of the past few weeks slowly subsides and you even find time to laugh and this helps you feel much more contented with life.
Then as Venus sits in the house of short journeys, she specifies time to yourself or even a weekend away, thus allowing you a moment to reflect and plan ahead for the future.   But once your plans are formulated, be prepared for some resistance. 
Try not to be critical of other’s, and aim to take their point of view into account before charging ahead or trying to do everything alone, as a ‘problem shared is a problem halved. ‘
 
 
11 - Sagittarius 23rd November – 21st December
          
You will be on a high this month, as you continue to feel less stressed. But you must guard against being taken for granted as you have an extremely charitable nature, which can make you an easy target!

12 - Capricorn 22nd December –19th January
